Call for papers
The University of Vienna, Faculty of Islamic Education in cooperation with the University of Montenegro is organizing an international conference from October 17-19, 2014.
We are soliciting contributions to the conference that will ultimately be published as chapters in an edited volume.
In particular, we are interested in papers that address the role of religious plurality in specific European countries and their educational systems; papers that address:
• theologies of religious pluralism as they impact pedagogy
and praxis, Islam and religious pluralism
• papers treating cases outside of Europe that might be
relevant in comparative perspective
• papers that consider the role of the state in
negotiating religious pluralism
• religious pluralism and international relations
• Inter-religious dialogue and religious pluralism
